The Boyce Temp Gauge is mounted under the instrument panel. However, the sensor bulb does not register, so I have not connected it to the rad hose.
I sent it out to a repair shop in Michigan who said they could fix it, but once they saw it was it was, they returned it. I believe I read somewhere that the bulbs were factory sealed with ether.

Does anyone know of a shop that can repair this type of gauge?

I just bought (Mike's "A" Ford-able Parts-Maysville, GA) the installation nipple, gauge and mounting bracket for under the dash, that fastens to the existing two screws. Looks good haven't tried it out yet. Make sure you don't over fill the radiator. They will boil out down to the first baffle.

I like the way Model A Man did his and I think all were very good ideas. Just goes to show you, there are a half dozen ways to install some item on a Model "A".

With a repro lever it can get pretty close in reverse, it doesn't quiet touch.
