Re: 1928 ford C-Max For sale / Facebook
Facebook has fixed options to fill in the descriptions. You have to pick out a model from their list.I think I advertised one a few years ago as an F-150.Same thing with the condition description. You have to pick from, excellent, good, fair and poor.I just pick one of the options for each of the boxes to fill in,and post the ad.It is really meaningless.

I Googled C-Max Ford and found out it is a hybrid car that Ford makes. This just proves that I live in the last century.

Could be a Standard/Special Coupe with the top cut off but I think it's the remains of a Sport/Business Coupe - definitely not a Cabriolet as it has the coupe pillar.

Yes. It worked for me and I’m not on FB either. Deleted my earlier post.

Re: 1928 ford C-Max For sale / Facebook
When putting the title in your ad on FB, people don't realize when they chose from FB's list of makes and models to list it correctly you have to use "other". That allows you to type in the correct make and car model in the title. Not knowing this, sellers chooses something from the list which is not even close.

Re: 1928 ford C-Max For sale / Facebook
I think the seller accidentally put an extra zero on the end of that price ;-)

I had a Ford C-Max for a rental car in France a few years ago. It was a great little car got fantastic fuel mileage. I really liked the car.

That isn't such a bad project car. Get the mechanicals going and put the body together enough to function well, install a homemade functional interior and you'll be THE car that everyone will be looking at when you go to a show. A few of the "car educated" look at the trailer queens, most people love the rattletraps. More fun to drive too.

Re: 1928 ford C-Max For sale / Facebook
Some one tried to make a coupster out of it. Sport & business coupes have a lot of pieces that are specific and original parts are getting harder to find as time goes by. That would be a poor one to start out with for a restoration. The hot rod crowd would find a way to use it as is.
