Default Handbrake rod anti-rattle.

Does the 29 handbrake rod have a donut style addition in about the middle for an anti-rattle/push back spring to attach ...like the brake rod?

Or is maybe the handbrake rod I have a cut/shortened brake rod?

Are they they same or similar except for length?
