1937 humpback sedan 4 door radiator core support
Hi All: I recently acquired a 1937 sedan 4 door humpback, but it is missing the radiator core supports. I have the radiator for it but cannot find anyone with the part to mount this radiator....any help will be appreciated.

Mike,
I have some 37 stuff, but not sure what you need. Can you identify it based on the picture? gregg Last edited by 1937sedandelivery; 01-21-2019 at 10:20 AM. Reason: add picture |

The Ford V8's of the 1930's did not have a core support, that is a separate assembly that mounted to the frame, securing the fenders and radiator in place like modern cars. The '37's had a stamped framework that was attached to the radiator tanks top and bottom with soldier. The pix I have attached is of a '37 pickup radiator.

The part I need is apparently riveted to he frame horns and bolted to the cross member. Thanks for the pics but I have all of those parts.

I went through the same thing on my 37. Luckily, I found two very nice pieces. I believe this is what you are needing:

Re: 1937 humpback sedan 4 door radiator core support
one more try adding a picture...
hey, it worked. The secret is that I was trying to add pdf's. When I tried a jpeg it worked, kinda makes sense, now. I don't remember where I got the brackets, probably on Ebay. I just looked there and can't find any. Last edited by 1937sedandelivery; 01-21-2019 at 04:38 PM. |

Re: 1937 humpback sedan 4 door radiator core support
Mike,
I don't have these anymore (used them on my SD). BUT, I do have a rusty old 37 frame out back with brackets. If I was a really nice guy, I would grind off the bracket rivets and send them your way.....hmmm, send me a PM. gregg |

The file you are attaching is a pdf file and not a photo file. It attached as a pdf just like it should.

Re: 1937 humpback sedan 4 door radiator core support
Thanks for the pics. I am new to this form of communication, and don't know what a PM is....clarify please. Pete says he has a pair in nice condition so don't grind off the rivets just yet.
