Default original quail

I saw a quail on Ebay that might be an original. It's a little pitted, but maybe save able.

I have an original Quail, and it is made of a 'Pot metal' like substance and is (due to age) extremely fragile. As such, I would not buy anything of this sort on ebay (or anywhere else) which I was not able to see and handle first hand, to adequately inspect it for its structural integrity. Dust and cobwebs often holds these fragile (with fatigued metal) together. The shipping alone is often enough to disturb the 'dust' that holds them together. Many are held together with the grace of God's breath. Once disturbed from their resting place God's gift is often taken away.
Look carefully at any old object before you make a commitment, whether it be a woman or a quail.
