Default 1929 Production Numbers by Body Style

Looking to find access to 1929 production numbers broken down into the various different body styles offered.

Can anyone direct me to a source?

Have an early 1929 and would like to know what are the differences are between the early cars the late-1929s?

Thanks!

The Restoration Standards are one good source, and the SERVICE BULLETINS are another.

Twolight Headlamps were introduced in February 1929 and the parking brake handle was moved from in front of the shift lever, to the side about July 1929.

The book by Loren Sorenson "The Open Fords" gives open car 1929 worldwide production as follows:

Roadster 203,866

Phaeton 90,291

Cabriolet 17,744

I hope this helps.

I understand that there will be three books coming out soon that deal with all the Ford assembly plants and their production numbers of each assembly plant and of each Model A/AA Ford that was ever assembled. Part 1 will deal with the Model A Passenger Cars; Part 2 will deal with the Model A Commercial Vehicles; and Part 3 will deal with the Model AA Trucks. All three are in the making and Part's 1 and 2 will be released at the same time. Part 1 is perty much done except for some assembly plant photos needed; Part 2 has a few weeks left on it; Part 3...well, it is coming down the asembly line also.

Thanks Steve for ever thing you do for the A's and the AA's. I am in your one artical on starter bearing. About the fact that the A has a holes on the front cross member one way and the AA has it just the opposite way. I feel very special to be in that artical.
