New 21 stud V8 heads
I finally have some castings to machine after doing some pattern maintenance & having to find a foundry willing to cast them after the foundry we had been using were not interested in doing them anymore, it has taken a while & many people have been asking when I will have some over the past couple of years, thanks for your patience, I have 4 to machine up & if they are all ok I, will order more castings to machine

Re: New 21 stud V8 heads
Boy, you need a medium sized CNC mill - would make the machining so much more accurate and consistent. Also, you could easily touch-up the chambers, get all the stud holes in exactly the right places, etc..
It looks like these first ones are quality castings - you'll soon find out as the machining process starts! Best of luck! |

Re: New 21 stud V8 heads
Hi Supertuner, I will have an idea on price after I machine them up, unfortunately foundry costs have risen considerably as everything has the past couple of years, the good thing for those in the US is our Aussie dollar is weak so will be much better value for you guys, our dollar is worth only about 66 cents to your dollar, thanks John

Re: New 21 stud V8 heads
Do you have the original Ford drawing for the bolt holes?
If not, I have them.

that would be good if you have them & you are willing to share a copy, I have reverse engineered off a set of NOS originals & measured a few other originals to get the sizes, if you have the original blueprints it would be interesting to compare sizes, my email is [email protected], thanks John |
