Default Another Model A mangled

Read this on Jalopnik. Everyone was ok but poor Model A and this has been in their family since new. I wonder if this can be re restored???? Always a shame seeing this happen!

First, I am glad that no one was seriously injured. I am guessing the gentleman in the head bandage walking around was the A driver. Always a good sign when the accident victim is upright and talking.

Second, The A looks like it made a good account of itself compared to the Pizza Hut car. I think the A could be rebuilt.

What does anyone else think?

Pretty sad! Not good publicity for Pizza Hut. Wonder if the corporation will do what they can to make it right.

...and the kid getting the info wrong... "1932 Model A" For some reason, that's bothering me.

No way would I consider that car "totaled". I think it is very fixable.

Could have been left over stock sold new in 32. The pizza care looks worse!

O.K. The ford can be rebuilt alright, but the story is a bit fuzzy.........Did I hear it right? Both vehicles were attempting a left turn. The Import ends up impacted on the passenger side of the A? Could this not occur if both had been traveling head on? So, lets say one ( Pizza guy) was traveling West making a left South and the other (gramps) was traveling North attempting to turn East. This would explain the pictures, but not why both arrived at the same point in time. Some one ran the light or refused right of way? I would say the Ford was well into the intersection when struck by the import (but I am biased being a Model A Ford driving Gramps)
Your results may vary. Keep your heads up boyz, were are competing with too many distracted drivers. By the way I would have grabbed a piece of pizza while waiting for the Leos and emergency people to finish up. Would that be a crime? or just dessert?

The light color should have made the Ford pretty visible, but the almighty cell phone could have been a factor.

I am guessing it will need a different frame so the body comes off...but it sure took out that Pizza delivery vehicle.

It is great no one was seriously injured. Looks like that "1932 Model A" came out a l;ot better that the other car.I agree with FiV-hard to think that type of impact could come from two cars both turning left and it looks like the pizza hit the Ford. It would be interesting to see the police report.
