There was a commonly circulated Model T joke that appears in most of the 1920's Ford joke books floating around.
Essentially...

Old geezer makes it known that when he goes, he wants his Ford T buried with him.
When asked to explain, he replies approximately:
"Because I never got into a hole that my Ford couldn't get me out of!"

Sadly, there are parts of the country where the carb and other items would disappear before the funeral party got to the gate!
