Some photos of my '41
I've been meaning to add some photos of my PU since getting it a year ago. I've posted several questions and have got some great feedback and help. You guys are a great resource for me since I'm new to the early Ford vehicles. I believe that my truck is fairly stock. I'm sure there are some details that I'm not familiar with that will show up in the photos.

Very nice and very red too. That looks like a Bosh coil thats on there. Does it require a resistor? Looks like there is a resister on the firewall. Just wondering because the most common Bosh Blue coil has an internal resistor.

Re: Some photos of my '41
Thanks for the compliments. It turned out to be a very solid truck. Whoever did the restoration back in the 90's did a great job. It was stored in a very nice climate controlled building that made all of the difference. I had to replace the bed and was able to match the rest of the paint perfectly. I'm going over everything and so far no real surprises.
Yes Bill I replaced the coil with the blue Bosch coil. It had the resistor on the firewall. I'm not sure if I need it or not. I need some help identifing the rear view mirror in the second set of photos. I was told it was a mid/late 40's car mirror, but I havn't been able to find it. It has a 2.5" stud coming out of the back going into the center windshield trim. I believe that the stock mirror mounts at the top. My friend has a '41 and that's how his is. I like where this one is mounted, it just needs replacing. |

Re: Some photos of my '41
It would look much nicer with the hood fully closed....

My 41 , my 46 half ton and 46 1- 1/2 ton all have the mirror at the top of the windshield molding , I like the way yours is mounted ,probably easier to see out of.
