Base Color formula for 400-A woodgrain
Hello All -
I am getting ready to do the woodgraining on a 400-A using the butt walnut grain. Would anyone have the base coat formula for use with this particular grain? Thanks in advance for any help and guidance on this. Dick |

Re: Base Color formula for 400-A woodgrain
Thanks Don -
Evan has sent me pictures of the wood grain from an original 400-A, but I'm not sure of the base coat formula to get the process started. I've done ten or twelve of the mahogany grains for different folks and have paint samples for those, but the butt walnut appears to have a more golden tone for the base. Any ideas? Thanks again - Dick |
