Default 47 pickup speedometer

does anyone know how to change the speedometer indicator pointer without breaking something.? I have several speedometer to remove a good pointer from .

My '41 speedo pointer was extremely thin. It's just pressed onto the shaft. Gentle does it

If you have a local clock/watch repair person they can probably remove them for you. They have special pullers for such work. As fordor41 said "gentle does it" as the pointer is most likely aluminum and will easily bend or break.
