I'm in the process of building one car. I have most of the parts. There are some parts I'm missing and some that I have that will not be used. I am not a parts collector. I'm not a parts seller. In most cases, I have no idea of what a bunch of parts are worth. If I'm buying or trying to sell, I'm hoping that the seller or buyer, both of whom are very likely much tuned in to parts values to either offer a decent selling price or buying price. If I'm shocked by their responses, I would prefer to state so and move on. My 2 cents.

I've had mainly good luck both buying and selling here on the Barn and the HAMB as well. My only complaint is when someone posts a wanted ad and then doesn't respond to PM's regarding the part. I understand if my price is more than you want to pay or you've already found the part so be it, at least tell me you aren't interested. But I guess if that's my only complaint I should consider myself blessed. JMHO.

Unless you have purchased NOS 32 parts recently, you would be shocked at what they go for. I sold a NOS 32 distributor for LOTS of money last year. When I threw out a high price to give myself some negotiating room, the buyer said "I will take it". That stuff is old and getting rarer each day. One of my best friends (who has passed on) used to say "the only thing rarer then this part is the guy that needs it".
