Are Roadster Floor Pans interchangeable?
Hi all,
I’m putting together my families old 1928 Roadster body during this “extra free time” but the floor pans need to be replaced. I have an extra set my dad didn’t use for his 1930 Roadster but I’m not sure if any of the pans are viable for a 1928 body. I’m not going for any sort of points restoration, just getting the car put together nicely to enjoy. Thanks

I am new to forum so first time with a private message so hopefully it goes through. I am contacting you regarding your question about floor pans. I have a set from a '29 5 window coupe I salvaged from a street rodder that would have scrapped. They aren't perfect but certainly with some work they could look decent. I think he used used an air chisel to cut rivets so some holes are torn and one pan has some rust out. These parts may suit your project better than the '30 seat risers etc you have on hand. Let me know if you have any questions. In light of what's going on in the world I know it's not a priority and shipping my be difficult right now. I am in Northern Michigan and we have restricted travel with grocery - pharmacy travel the main exception. Regards, John Sundstrom Also if you want to use my regular email it's: [email protected] Never received reply from Fordbarn pm before. |
