Thanks Lawrie, hopefully soon we can get together when all this virus crisis is over. I tried something today & backed off my engine mountings. Yet to be tested. Maybe I need your replacement engine you are building for your 33 ?.

Danny, when are you next down to Brisbane, I have some stuff that some one in the V8 club might be able to use, later generators ,and manifolds, I can't throw them out and I won't use them,

OK that means both were 11a. that was what was in there from the start.
I will knock one up with the 68 and also you can try a 40b one from the spare 34

Good news Brian, Lawrie made up a 40B Dist for me to try. Installed it & went for a run, Lawrie as passenger well that "Harsh Noise" is gone and also a very pleasing outcome is the engine is performance. Very responsive and a lot quieter. Lawrie is the Ford Man.
Just got to source new points ?.
