Newbie looking for early V8 Books

I'm 18 trying to rebuild my first '40 ford drivetrain with a '46 flathead. I'd like to build up a library to help me on my way. I just ordered Van Pelt's transmission book and Vern Tardel's rear end book but I was wondering if anyone had some used books that they wouldn't mind parting with so I can feel confident in my work.
