I think 1931 Flamingp is probably right. It looks like another company than Ford build the cab. I think Ford sold the cowl/A pillar only a frame by itself for companies that wanted to make custom bodies. How well is the cab made? Hopefully someone will respond that knows what it is. I have never seen a cab like in you picture.

The sheet metal is in decent shape.A lot of wood in cab.searched all over for name can"t find anything.

Years ago I answered a newspaper ad for a 29 cab. It turned out to be a basket case 29 cabriolet. I bought it, then sold it the next day. Wish I'd kept it.

I saw a picture of a railcar that has the same type of cab buildup as the one you have pictured. I am sure it was built in a railroad shop somewhere using model A body and running gear mounted to railroad wheels drive system.

I'm not sure where I saw the railcar picture at but I was looking for some model railroad cars and engines on the internet last week. Could have been anywhere on there but it was a real life picture of a self propelled mail or freight car.
