Default front fender aprons 47 pickup

1947 1 Ton Pickup 6 cylinder engine .Hi guys can anyone tell me if there is a bolt on each side at the lower rear of the front fender aprons that bolts to the chassis with a large rubber pad in between , I cannot get the aprons to settle toward the rear and there is a bolt hole on each side but I am not sure if it is fixed at that point , it would seem a bit agricultural to do this considering there are 2 rubber buffers toward the front on both sides along the chassis . does anyone have diagram of this at all . I am nearly finished my truck but the front clip is being a bastard to fit back on , the radiator is touching the front guard where the front panel and fender bolt up on both sides. I remember it was a pain to pull apart as well . can anyone shed some light on this please?
cheers Robin

Yes, it is exactly as you are surmising. There is a rubber pad between the inner fender and the frame at that point. Good luck!
