1929 Steelback Sedan
City:
Fort Worth
State:
Tx
Price:
18,500 OBO
I am listing this car for a widow in the Fort Worth Club. The car is a 1929 steel back sedan (blindback). It is the rare version with actual steel and not the top material in the back quarters. It is painted silver with black molding, fenders & wheels. Although it is not an original color, it was done nicely. The interior is gray. It's name is the "silver bullet". Here's the story.... They bought the car around 12 years ago, and have put less than 500 miles on it. About 5 years ago her husband had a stroke which put him in a nursing home. The car has not been touched since. It ran and was drivable before he had the stroke. It needs a new battery and some fresh gas. But the owner knows this and is willing to come down off her price a little to accommodate for this. I haven't had the opportunity to do a full investigation of the car. The owners had a '31 coupe that they toured in all 49 land states, all providences of canada, and mexico in. So in saying that-- they knew model a's well and wouldn't have bought a piece of junk. If you are interested, I can get you some pictures and we can talk a little.
