Can this be worth the price?
I'm cleaning out my "stuff" in preparation for moving and came across a drill bit with a price tag that makes me wonder. I know I didn't buy this bit as my budget is more on the HF level.
What could this bit be to be worth the $150.00 price tag? I have tried to read the print on the tube but it has faded long ago. Any ideas as to what this bit is or is it just a bit that someone has put a high price tag on.

Re: Can this be worth the price?
It looks like a typical HSS drill bit.
Value would be about $15, give or take, for a NOS USA bit. Not 150.

Re: Can this be worth the price?
Maybe it came as a part of a set with other pieces and the $150 was for every thing.
Otherwise it was a drill bit sold to the US Government along with the $700 toilet seats! |

Re: Can this be worth the price?
The price is what someone will pay, not the asking price! Obviously it is mlspriced!

Re: Can this be worth the price?
I figured it was the wrong price but wanted to check. It is always interesting to find treasures that you have put away and now have no idea where you got them. This next year will be a year of discovery with me finally getting to organize my stuff in a real garage after way to many years. Can't wait!!
Thanks for the info, sure wish it would have been a $150.00 bit!

Re: Can this be worth the price?
Katy: Makes sense, in today's MXN rate that would make it around $6-7.00 USD
