That last page comes up as missing it's original post for me. Why not just download the picture of their puller and post it here. If it's the one I'm thinking of, it's very light duty, and I'd strongly suggest getting the other puller you mention. I believe that puller is on par with the original KRW and also the Winfield repro version of the KRW puller.

Your eBay link didn't work, but this is what I found. I bought the first one in the pic, but will have to wait until my car is out of storage to try it.

Thank you. Yes, I fixed the link

Tim, Buy the Vintage hub puller. Can also be used with an impact wrench. The other (weaker) puller cannot. The extra cost will immediately be forgotten when you see how great it works. I don't know if Winfield Tool Works is still in business but, they make an excellent puller.

If you can’t find a winfield then the vintage precision is next.

And I totally agree. I was given one of those "weaker" pullers like Macs sells, and as shown in Corvette8n's first picture, and never used it. If someone here would like to own that, I'll sell it to them at a very good price

I have one similar to corvette8n's first picture. It works well removing the hubs on my '38. I'm not poo-pooing the others mentioned here as they may be more adept at removing long-rusted, stubborn hubs that some encounter.

A friend of mine made this Rear Wheel Hub Puller for Early Ford V8's. It works a treat.

I bought the cheaper puller. I think I may have pulled two drums before the threads stripped. I regretted buying it. I went ahead and bought the Vintage Precision unit. I am very pleased with it. Just my 2 cents worth.

Go with the Vintage Precision one. It captures the groove in the hub at 360 degrees so it pulls equally on the groove.

Check the videos where I was repairing my truck. The VP puller is a champ.

Vintage Precision, Winfield Tool Works, or KR Wilson is all I will use. I own all three and the Winfield is my favorite, but they are all three the only ones I would use.

Thanks all. I guess I'm being kind of funny about trying to save a few bucks. Makes sense to get one high quality tool and be done with it.
