Default Steering Free Play Final Update

Thank you all for your comments. I re-adjusted the end caps on the drag link and the tie-rod. I found the drag link and tie-rod were firmly in place by screwing the caps on until they contacted ball cups, turned a bit more to align the slot with the cotter pin hole and then 1 1/2 turns to the final position. Grabbing the tie-rod and drag link I found them firmly in place. They could be slightly moved with a lot of effort.

Using a toe-in tool I found that you definitely have to make a check on toe-in after playing with the end caps. Toe-in had increased to 3/8 in. I re-adjusted toe-in to 3/32 (hard to read a 1/32 but slightly less than 1/8 in.! The best part is the car does steer much better with less wandering around. The play at the circumference of the wheel is 5/8 to 3/4 in. Thanks for all your inputs. Ed
