Question Coil ohm rating?....

Is the stock Model-A ford 6 volt coil ohm rated at .6 ohm? If a stock
Model-A has been converted to 12 volt would a .6 ohm 12 volt coil
work? I tried to search the info but could not find it in the archives.
TIA

AMF/Bob-A

For an internally resisted coil for use on the model A, you will need 1.5 ohm for six volts and 3.0 ohm for twelve volts
