New Avatar Time
This is my truck shortly after I bought it in 1977. Graduation present from college, I deferred getting a "new" car instead bought the truck of my dreams since a small boy.
I probably paid too much - but now what difference does that make. "You didn't buy too high, you just bought too soon." The color was a quick spray job sort of green flake metallic. Lighter than the actual color it was, but the actual color it was wasn't Rock Moss Green. I've considered that it might be one of the "other" colors for an 82A pickup in 1929. Possibly Gunmetal Blue. I'll have to pick something still painted with the original paint and oil it up to try to bring up the color. Anyway, this is one the earliest pictures after I had owned it for a while and cleaned it up. Joe K

Re: New Avatar Time
Great looking truck! But I'm a little partial , I have one also. I bought it on July 1st. 59 = tomorrow it will be 55 years. It cost $20 at the time. Yours looks stock/original , mine is what's called a banger(I hate that) It might even get a bath tomorrow.

Re: New Avatar Time
Nice truck! I had an early '28 AA rack body with full fenders, always liked the look of the 28-29 cabs. Bob
