Default Anyone going to the EFV8 Eastern Nats?

Dennis Carpenter is selling a 1939 Worlds Fair commemorative shift knob at the Nationals. I called them trying to buy one for my '39 but they said you can only get one by registering for the events and ordering at that time. If you are going and don't want this for yourself let me know. They are $20 and I'd be happy to send you the money. Thanks,

Gene, why not think about signing up and attending the meet? It's going to be a good one. Would be great to meet you and see your '39 coupe there.

Gene, These will be available after the meet also (Early Ford V-8 Foundation). Dennis Carpenter is a very gracious and generous person. He donates these to the Early Ford V-8 Club and Foundation. Like JM said...It's more fun to be at the National Events and purchase yours there! Pat

Pat are you home now? The weather is going to be nice today. Might put the Back Yard Buddy together. Did get another ride. Which I needed. Looking forward for the National Meet. Might take the 40 for a ride today

Maybe this offer will be made at the Central meet, if so I'll get one there. Charlie

How this look Pat? Darn off breed in my shed beside the 40. They are getting along pretty good. A good ride for tours. Very nice driving car. I am taking the 50 to the National Meet. Going to judge 40's. What are you taking the 50? Its a nice car.

Pat,
I'm sure it's more fun to be there but I'm going to be very busy this summer. We are currently in FL. and just bought a home here so taking care of two will keep me busy. Besides I need a little time to play with the '39. I'm hoping to put a Mitchell in this year.

If you are any where near Daytona, let me know. I will tell you all about the monthly meetings of our "Birth Place Of Speed" Early V8 Ford Club Chapter meetings.

Mike,
We are in Naples. I've been to Daytona at least 25 times over the years. I did ride my bike up for a couple of days during bike week this year. Last year and the year before we spent a couple of weeks there on our way home. Have been traveling in a Motor Coach for a few years but are moving into a house here.

Redneck, My dad had one of those just like that when I was a kid. Probably around 1949 or 50.
