Default Question for Admin?

I recently noticed that my ability to "reply" to sellers over at the Swap Meet has been removed for me.

I get a "You do not have permission to access this page" Will Robinson warning when I try the reply button. There is not a quick reply on the thread post itself.

And yet others seem to be able to do this?

Is this new? Am I blocked for questioning sellers? Or maybe I have been voted off the island?

Sorry. Just trying to lighten up a little.

You may have missed it but all replies must be made in PM's now to the seller. No more posting on adds. This came down from Ryan.

There is this sticky over on the swap meet page:
Quote:
We no longer allow replies to classified ads. In order to make a purchase or ask a question, simply send a private message to the seller. You can do so by clicking on the seller's username and then clicking "Send Private Message."

Thanks and enjoy the forum!

I popped over there to take a look and this is the message that you see if you make an attempt to reply to an ad.

1crosscut, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I would think a copy of the message posted in the sticky would be useful instead.

Probably because you are trying to sell a product on the discussion forum.

probably because the administrators don't like people pushing their products on the forum. my take on it is your a liar and scam artist as you made this original post that you found this neat point setter and bought it, then later on your selling them for your grandfather. and you wonder why your posts are deleted

I thought it would be smart to make it look like i found them just to see what people thought about the tool. Clearly that was not the case. I want to prove my product and send it to the main admin to right a review about it and let everyone who may be interested know I am not a scammer. Everyone who has bought one locally said the same thing you all are saying about it until they tried it.

If you think you have a legitimate item which can be used in our hobby...then contact John LaVoy who reviews and writes articles on such devices for his magizine Model A Times.

Good Luck.
