Default Look what I found out in the woods

Went with a buddy to his cabin in northern MI. On the way out to check on one of his blinds we ran across these on his property. Can anybody identify them? Are they of any value to make it worth while to haul them out>

It's "Ford" on the hubcaps.

If it were me, all of that would already be loaded on my pu truck and ready to bring home. I can already envision a new project starting for the Capt.

Looks like spindles are swapped side for side and a trailer tongue has been added. Farmer or logger engineering.

Kirk- if you rescue it, I could use the dropped, rear part of the front wishbones.... Good luck!

Thanks

Bob C has it. Looks just like my '36 1 1/2 ton I have. It was last a wagon due to the tongue on the front axle. A common practice after WWII.

I think we're going to head back up there some time before hunting season. Will take some tools and a cherry picker to load it up in the truck. My back hurts just looking at those pictures! Wondering how those axles would look under my 35 Cab...

Unless you plan for overdrive, the 6.67:1 or thereabouts ratio might keep you out of the passing lane.

I'm always looking for wheels. If they look good keep me in mind.

If we're able to get those out of the woods, they will be posted here first. The hub caps looked great but I didn't have a screw driver to get them off. Wanted one for a wall hanger.
