Default Body to frame bushings

I have checked all over the internet for body to frame bushings for my '59 Galaxie with no luck. I was told by a rep. from Dennis Carpenter that a '59 is a one of a kind and they don't have them. Same thing everywhere. Anyone have any suggestions on where I can find them? It seems everyone skips 1959.

If the picture is what you get that will not work. I need 10 of the big round bushings and 4 of the flat ones. I did notice they said there were exceptions as to what they would fit. I will still call them and find out.

FALSE ADVERTISING - COMMON TODAY WITH THESE VENDORS ALONG WITH PUSHING OFF-SHORE JUNK -

The insulators are the same from 1957 (partial) until 1962 on FORD-MERC-EDSEL (exc for CONV - RHT and number used on SEDAN and/or WAGON.

PN's are B8A 6400154-A (upper) and 55-A (lower).

This vendor shows them as a kit . Get back ...

Thanks for the info. I see the Lincoln old parts store is currently sold out. I'll check with them to see when more are available.

Unless polyurethane bushings contain graphite, they might squeak; use silicone grease.

TRY THIS -

His kit reads 57/58 but the 59 takes the same insulators. His also comes with the hardware.

I talked with a rep. there and was told this kit would not work that '59 was different but they do look like what I have. Are the sizes the same?

The ORIGINAL FORD PART NUMBERS are the same for 1958 to 1962 FORD (1957 partial). I gave the insulator parts list chart above.

It may be that some of the hardware is different but that can be corrected.

I have found three vendors that sell this same exact kit but all give a different song and dance.

The question is who actually makes it and describes it correctly.

Do you have a 1959 FORD SHOP MANUAL? It should give you a detailed ILL showing frame mounting points and hardware. 1957 does.

I don't know. Most of these vendors leave much to be desired (IMO). I would ask what the RETURN POLICY is and order and see what they are. DENNIS CARPENTER has a deal with FORD MOTOR where they acquire the original tooling to repro some of their parts. Whether this kit is FORD APPROVED is up in the air as the ad does not show FORD APPROVED.

You are more than welcome.

Some of these so-called vendors are not to speed.
