Default 31 Speedster

Several months I tried to sale my 31 speedster I've been working on when I had time, well I am glad it didn't sale I just completed the staining and clear coat on the wood body. It has put me in a different frame of mine about completing it. Just ordered up $800.00 + in parts from Snyders.

Super Sharp! Is there a luggage area in the back? Or gas tank? Or both?

Yes the motor that came in the frame only needed to have all the gasket, nuts & bolts replaced.

Yes the back will open still have to make the hinges not sure if I'm going to make them out of wood or metal that's why I've pulled off the body and started working on some of the Mechanical things that need to be address.

nice work on your Speedster. Here are pictures of the Speedster I am building. It has a "B" motor with Miller overhead, fuel pump, full oil pressure, dual downdrafts and alternator. Body has adjustable drivers seat, bucket seats and rumble seat. Wood is Red Cedar that I cut and had milled. Fiber glassed the body after a lot of sanding. The steering wheel is one I made. I could never find an original from 1930. I ended up making 10 of these steering wheels, four for my cars and six for other guys. Biggest problem was the windshield. I fitted the glass too tight and it cracked in three places when the wood shrunk.
We'll have to get together at the Lincoln, Nebraska Speedster Meet.
