Anyone know how old these are? Rubber is still soft.

This may give you some idea of how old your tubes are. Before WW11, tires and tubes were made from real rubber from rubber trees. I've actually salvaged an old inner tube for an AA truck that was probably pre war. It was still soft and stretchy. Put it in a tire and it held air. Why not pump one of your tubes up and see what happens?

1. Is there a Zip code following the city state address on the box?

Zip codes were introduced in 1963 so you can tell approximate date box was printed.

2. Also look at the phone number:

If it says as example OLY9-1234 OR Olympia 9-1234 then it is from around 1960's or earlier.

I know in 1961 Michigan had OLY9-XXXX phone exchanges.

I am not sure when they dropped this usage.

3. I see that it says Butyl rubber on the box:

Butyl rubber was developed during WWII because the Japs had all of the South East Asia rubber plantations.

Do they have any cracks in the corners where folded?
It says Butyl on the box, that means synthetic.

The Pep Boys are owners of the Cornell Tire and Rubber Company of Philadelphia, PA and Akron, OH.

The Cooper oval with knights helmet and banner were used in trademarks of Cooper Tire from 1941 but they were likely just enough different as to not spark infringement actions. The Pep Boys sued Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company over the use to the word "Fortera" because is was too similar to their Cornell "Futura" tire trademark. I find stuff like this somewhat amusing. The corporate world can be as hypocritical as any entity.

If the tubes were in plastic bags inside a box then they might still last a while. Synthetic rubber's worst enemies are the ozone in the air and the infrared radiation from the sunlight. I'd guess they are from the mid 20th century somewhere but it's just a guess.
