Default 302 into 1954 crestline victoria

what are the possibilities, had no problems with my 55 mercury, but this one looks a whole lot different, so what are the real problems

Should be the same. Both were Y Blocks and a 302 is usually a bolt in as far as the engine is concerned although you may have to modify the rear mount.

I good place to get info on this is the 1954 Ford Club site

Is it a 54 or a 53? You got both years on two different sections
