Can you be more explicit in what you mean by "cut out" ? I am familiar with three different meanings to the term "cut out".

I'm sure I have one in Mi that you could have, but I'm in SC. There should be a lot out there, since most of us are running the alternator.

I have two old generators in my garage that I just checked but neither has a cutout. Hmmm, as a side note, one appears to be a Canuook Genny, it has Robertson screws holding the field coils in?

Our Club meeting is tonight. I will ask if anyone has one they will donate to the cause... Not sure if the Club Garage will be open tomorrow tho. I'll get back to you @ ~9pm. Can I assume you want one in working order? haha!

I'd like one that works but I also have the Diode to use on one that doesn't work. It will look correct if it has the original mounts and can top.

Sorry, no one at the meeting has a 'spare' cut out.

That is a nice looking older part that would work fine, but not original to the Model A years.

The pictured cutout in my opinion is a Ford made replacement made in he 1930's primarily for the V8 replacement market. Cutouts were used to 1939 and the ones in the V8 years had mounting holes whereas the Model A ones had slots. For a driver it would be fine but for a restoration it is not suitable.
