There are still good guys out there.
Bought a timing cover off of 5150Bat in Redlands cal. He offered to send it before I got around to write him a check. Part arrived packaged very nice & super good. Part is like N O S. B-O-B |

Glad it worked out for yah. I was getting rid of the last of my flathead stuff so my son won't have to deal with it down the road. BUT I just bought a complete 8ba with a truck pan and 1/2 cast iron bell. It was supposedly stuck but a magic mixture of 50/50 acetone and ATF freed it up almost immediately. Pulled the clean out plate. Oil was black but no water. Screen wasn't sludged up. Did find a dead mouse when I dropped the plate. I'll try to get it to fire. If not I'll part it out. Just can't have too many flatheads.
