Default Macs

anyone heard from Trevor or Scott from Ecklers? they seem to have disappeared from the forum. I hope not, it was kind of nice to be able to talk to some one from the company. the only way to fix problems is thru communication, I thought we had that, but for the moment it seems to have went away

What do they have to say now?

I would think that if you have a question or problem you would contact them directly now that we have names to go with the company. Why air laundry here?

Have you tried directing a question to them on the thread they started. It is kind of difficult for them to answer a question if no one asks.

perhaps Barners who have interaction with them privately could report back as to their level of satisfaction.....otherwise we will have nothing to go on in order to change our opinion of things.

An introductory posting is nice but without feedback, we do not know if they are following through.....IMO

Mike, im not airing laundry here, I simply ask a question, has any one heard from them? I was curious as to why they have not made any more posts. it was a nice jester to come in here and ask questions of us as to what our grievances were about ecklers, no laundry airing here just a question

I don't know if they would appreciate being called "jesters"! (Even nice jesters).

I believe GESTURE was probably the word WestCoast was meaning to use. Just another good reason why correct grammer and spelling mean something......FWIW. DD

I like the sales they run at macs.the only thing that gets me is the shipping im sure its high because of there cost but $25 to ship a small bag of parts to erie pa seems like a lot. I could drive there for less but then you have to add the tax. No way to win. Their parts are just as good as anybody else imo

OK, I decided to give them a chance. Today I made an order from Macs.
I will list the facts of the conversation, and not editorialize. Readers can be the judge.

1. The salesperson on the phone was very polite and very helpful
2. The parts are in stock.
3. It will take 2 days to process the order meaning it won't go out for 2 days. For an additional 3.96 I could have it processed today.
4. Once shipped out it will take 5 days to reach Texas.

Sounds like an excellent question to email and ask Trevor or Scott about.
Funny how they can tell you the parts are in stock, but have to wait 2 days to pull the order. Why? 3.96 today to send? Why? Lunch money?

Everything I've ordered from Snyder's and that's a lot, has been shipped out the same day as no extra cost with two day priority. They once sent an order out three-day but it was a large box order required.

LOL, hi guys, yes I spelled jester wrong, but maybe I wasn't far off after reading some more on the problems with Mac's, Mitch's post in particular, an extra charge to send your purchase in a timely matter? in my opinion Mac's needs a major business over haul

I've ordered parts from Mac and was satisfied with everything, but that was a few years ago, maybe before the got bought out.
That number 3 thing sounds bad to me, if I had a business I would never say that to a customer. I'd say we can't guarantee to ship same day, but we always try to ship as fast as we can without making mistakes or doing bad packing. That's all anybody can do.

It would seem like the suggestion above to send a PM to one of the MAC's guys that signed on to this site would be the thing to do if you have a question for them. Rather than making comments about them like our current media does on everything. Give them a chance. They do have a business to run and can't be on this site every hour of the day like some on this site.
