Default 1938 One Ton Production Numbers

Looking for help. Many of the records including those on One Ton pickups which were held at the Benson Ford Research Center were destroyed in a fire in 1970. Where can any information now be found about the number of One Ton pickups produced in 1938 and 1939, or is that now lost forever? I have a '38 one ton which I am currently restoring to stock. Would there be any source that might have some information about that specific vehicle as well? I am in the process of trying to track it backwards through relatives of deceased owners. I'll see where that leads.

FYI... I just received a reply from the Benson Ford Research Center. They did find a production date on the motor but no specific information on the truck as to where or when it was assembled. They also gave me production numbers for one ton trucks for 1938 of 4671 and for 1939 of 3410 with the mid-year introduction in '39 of the 3/4 ton of which 977 were produced that year.
