Default 1929 Ford Model A Coupe

Hi
Would like some help on location and installation of a brake light switch on the cross member. A picture sure would help me out. Thanks

28-29 brake light switches are attached to the transmission tower. If you look at the pics in the catalogues you will see how it looks and where it attaches on the left side of the tower. You will also need the link and longer clevis pins. And welcome to the Barn.

Welcome to the Barn. Another point with the break switch is to make sure it is far enough to the front of the car so that when you put on the brake to it's max, you do not pull the rod that goes through the switch so that it then ends up inside the switch. If this does happen, then you will blow a fuse or get a short. Don't ask me how I know but I have been there and done that!
