Dump truck seen in my town....
I spotted this at a gas station in Florham Park the other day. I don't know anything about it and neither does the station attendant. Can anyone help with the year? Model? I'll try to find out more tomorrow. Looks nice to me. Thanks for any info!

Great looking Ford COE Truck. This style grille was introduced for the 1941 model year and continued on for a few years. |

Re: Dump truck seen in my town....
When I was a.... well, back in about 1953 we lived in the country surounded by fields. A one armed woman used a stake truck of that vintage to haul her I H bulldozer. She could back that rig into the field and proceed to plow the entire field. I can see her & that cool truck as if it were yesterday. Thanks for the memories !!!

Looks like a 1942-47. 1941 had stainless trim on the grill bars. The clean white wheels hint that it is being fixed up.

It looks like it’s got decent rubber and the wheels have been painted......somebody must have worked on it recently........I’d like to hear/read more.......Mark
P.S. “fordyford” types faster than I do !!

It appears to be a nice truck to re-store, or enjoy as it is.
