Default cornhusker t-5 to 8ba

wondering how important,(critical?) the adjustments on the 3 fingers on the pressure plate might be. inherited this set-up, experiencing some problem with shifting into reverse and occasional gear noise when changing gears. thanks for any help or insights.

Gary from Cornhusker. Do you think there's a problem with my kit? Over the years I've found a variance in the PP's from various vendor's. I quit selling the plates and discs because all I was getting was poor quality parts to resell. You can always call me with a problem. Also I have 2 cars with t-5 trans behind SBC's and occasionally I have difficulty shifting into reverse and they both have diaphragm clutchs.

no, not at all! extremely well made. i inherited the car with both your front mount and tranny kits installed. it had a bad t-50 in it and i just swapped in a t-5. my 1st experience with an aftermarket manual behind a flatty. i always build my cars, always flattys, with an auto, usually an aod. this set-up has a hydraulic master and slave pushing a standard t/o bearing. suggestions? thanks

There might possibly be a need for some fine tuning on the clutch linkage. Call me and I'll go over it with you.
