Default Pics of 28 roadster with original top irons and bows

Reaching out for pics of 28-29 roadsters with original top irons and wood bows. Mine is going into the upholstery shop for a complete make over this next week and my upholsterer has not done a 28 in a long time. He has done 1930-1932. I have seen the tops of a few but not the inside and I want mine to look as original as we can. I would appreciate any pics I can get.

I took some picture of an original unrestored Aug 28 roadster a few years ago. I don't have access to it anymore, so what I have is it. I believe I know who owns it currently. I don't know how many pictures are of the top (inside and outside), maybe 10 to 15. If you send me an email I can attach them to an email. [email protected].

The way the wood is placed inside the metal structure makes repair complicated. If the wood is solid then tooth picks can be used to fill old nail holes. If the wood is too far gone then it has to be replaced. This is a difficult task due to the way the irons are made. There may be alternatives that I don't know about. There was a thread about this subject recently.

Cartouche sent me these photos of original upholstery after I asked where the top snaps are located.

Does anyone know what the 3 screw in snaps in the third picture above are for? Obviously not to attach the top to the beltrail - see the fourth picture.
