Model A Horn/Lightswitch

For sale a model A ford horn/light switch rod for 1930/1931 models, there are three different lengths depending on manufacturer, this one is 45 3/4"
No doubt a reproduction but in like new condition just too short for my steering column (now why don't that horn work?) they're like $60. new this one can be yours for $25. plus shipping.

I have a 36 Ford 1 1/2 ton Truck and would like to install a good chrome replacement, but not sure on the size I need. When I measure from the bottom to the underneath side of the top with a tape measure it reads 45 inch. How do I know which one to buy? Thanks,

the 1929 Gemmer 45" rod's the same length but whether it would work in a 36 or not is beyond me, call Snyder's
