Re: Chickasha In March - Who Is Going ?
BINGO badpuppy...
That's why I moved to the boonies a decade ago, maybe two cars go by in a day. Stocked up and can remain for six months or more. First I heard that it is cancelled, thanks for the update Brent.

Not wise to say you have supplies for 6 months on a public forum; especially if that includes toilet paper and alcohol ...if there's a meltdown in law and order you're asking to be a victim of crime. Just make sure you have plenty of ammo for your AK-47.

Quote:
First, the World Health Organization's count of lab-confirmed cases of the swine flu showed that at least 15,292 people had died in 212 countries and territories. A virus usually spreads geometrically. In other words, one person doesn't infect just one other. One can affect a group and then each in that group can infect another group and on and on. The bell curve, the number of cases over time, is still going up sharply. If we do not congregate for a while the number of cases will level out and then go down. If we "go out as usual" the bell curve may keep climbing. Yes, the flu does take out thousands every year. For the flu we have vaccine shots, Tamiflu, etc. For the corona virus we don't have %#&*. We don't even have enough test kits yet. The coronavirus is asymptomatic. That means a person may seem healthy but could be carrying the virus. If unfortunate, you could then bring this virus to others and even to the loved ones in your own home. My business will probably lose money in the tens of thousands (gross) but I will continue to conduct my life as if I have or can contract this virus. In other words, I will limit interactions with people. Viruses are nasty as history has showed us. Being a tough guy doesn't work. Being smart does work. The CDC says limit crowds to 50 or less. Yesterday Trump said to limit crowds to 10 or less. I'll follow his advice. By working together we can defeat this thing. |
