Default Good Ford Book

Just finished "The Arsenal of Democracy," by A.J. Baime, about how Detroit in general and primarily Ford geared up for armaments production for WWII. Gets into the conflicts between Henry, Edsel and Bennett. Interesting reading, well written.

Have you read 'Fordlandia'?

It has some interesting perspectives of the Ford family dynamics and how manufacturing was set up for the A. It has some perspectives of Ford you would not have expected with the subject of the main topic.

I haven't read "The Arsenal of Democracy" yet, but it sounds interesting.
I did read "Fordlandia" and was perplexed at how they got in so deep in that project.
I can't imagine myself working under those terrible conditions.
