I have seen 33 std 3w's but I don't recall ever seeing a 34 std 3w . Neat car & it is just rusty & dinged enough that the price shouldn't reach the stratosphere . BUT you never can tell on epay as it is consistently inconsistent at times .

Very few 34 3-W standards were made. I have only seen 2, having looked at many dozens of deluxes over the years. I also had, years ago, a set of door window frames that are unique to the 1934 3-W standard.
It's a little strange, 32 3-Ws were all Deluxe, 33 3-Ws were closer to 50/50 Std/deluxe and almost all 34 3-Ws were deluxe. The literature doesn't acknowledge std 34 3-Ws but I am convinced some were assembled but maybe special order.

Try to get some idea how bad the body sill plates that run along the outside of the frame are rusted. Repros are available but it's a lot of work to replace. I see the quart panels behind the doors are showing rust through and that could mean the sill plates and lower supports for the wood door posts are gone also. Hard to tell until it is taken apart. Such a nice complete car.

Strange that the top is open but wood intact. Old material may have wind whipped off during transportation. That is a very solid car.

The garnish moulding that is sitting in the front seat in one picture is not for a 3W.

Remember, the rockers and bottoms of the quarters rust because dust and dirt settles in there and then gets wet and retains the moisture in those areas where there is little or no paint protection, mostly bare steel. If the outer sheetmetal is rusted like that, the inner is going to be rusted as well. Rule of thumb for rust, there's always more there than you can see before you start cutting the rust out. The subrails will not survive unscathed when you have rust showing on the outside. They may not be as bad as they are heavier gauge than the outer sheetmetal, but they will have damage as well. They may be pitted or they may be swiss cheese. If they're swiss cheese then the extent of the corrosion damage can include the frame. Obviously, it can be repaired, but how far do you have to go to reach metal that you can weld the patch panels to? You really don't know how big the job will be until you get into it.

Its got a 35 gear shifter a Model A steering wheel, or it could be a 34 heavy truck .damage around the trunk edge and cowl edge, it has later pedal pads covers , fume catcher on the oil filler .37000 miles ?? the rust on the B pillar sills up around the inner fender wells ,looks repairable ,It may have come from a coastal errior
