Default Model A rear end gears

I am considering putting 3:54 gears in a chassis that will carry a 255A natural wood Special Delivery. I would like to hear from guys that have experience with this gear ratio. The 255A will tip the scales a little north of 2550 lbs.
The engine is already built as a touring with Burlington crank, 5.5 head, etc.
The tranny will be stock.
Thanks,
Tom

This is the "to the editors" section. You need the "Discussion" section, Model A.
