Default Gleaner engine hand clutch question

Working on freeing up the hand clutch on my Gleaner engine. The housing was filled to the halfway point with years of mouse nests and things as one would expect got pretty rusted.
I've been making progress getting things freed up but the twin clutch disks are being quite stubborn. There is a collar on the inboard side of the clutch disks that is threaded that I need to get broke loose and turn off but I'm unsure of what direction it needs to turn.
I am hoping that someone on the forum has worked with one of these before and can shed some light on the subject.
