No color around here to speak of. Late warmth set back the fall leaf display, and now heavy rains and wind have delayed any hope of a change. The annual swap meet at Hawkeye Downs in CR is always a good time, even in rain or snow. We live just south of Cedar Rapids.

Can't say for sure about Galena, but I'm about 70 miles south of Galena and most leaves are just starting to turn yellow. As Supereal said, we got dumped on yesterday and we're expecting another 1-2" on Saturday.

I would have liked to have gone to the Cedar Rapids swap meet, but since it is only a one day event on Saturday I will miss it. Have to be at a funeral in South Dakota that day.

Driving through Iowas yesterday (Thursday), I saw quite a bit of red leaves on trees along the highway, I-35, 218
