Bought and towed this Buick home yesterday and took it for a spin around the yard.

Buick is a nice car, in a different class than the Ford.

What year is it? I'm guessing 1929.... And did that model come with a Rumble Seat? Looks a little small for that. Enjoy!

Nice car, but don't sell the A's. What are you going to drive while the Buick is sitting in the barn waiting for parts. I don't think Snyder's or Bratton's will carry parts for it.

thanks guys. its a model 68- full AACA classic and puts out 100 horses.......134 whl base

model only came with a trunk, because as you said, too small. reg coupe would have a rumble.

this model is known as the victoria or opera coupe.
not selling all of the A's, but might be downsizing a bit from the 6 I have to about 3.

parts are def harder to get, but dont wear out as often.

Nice car, I believe it's a 1930. The 1930's have that belt molding added where the door handle is mounted in order to harden up the look of the '29 Buicks which were known as "pregnant" Buicks because of, at the time, the novel and shockingly curved out door panel skins. From our perspective 90 years later, most people don't even notice it. But it was shocking at the time and '29 sales dipped because of the styling. The '30s outsold the '29s.

BTW, I'm gonna be anal retentive here, but in the title of your post you used "drug" as the past tense of "drag". This is incorrect and I see it used more and more and it drives me crazy. The past tense of drag is "dragged". Drug is what you get at the pharmacy ;-)

That's what's known as regional dialect. Like grinder, po-boy, sub, hoagie. Pop, soda, tonic, coke. Milkshake, frappe, cabinet. Everyone, y'all, and y'all y'all. That's what makes traveling interesting, the world would be boring if it's the same everywhere.

Very nice lookin' car. Does that one have the little door on the RH side for the golf club compartment?

Does it have a conventional shift pattern? Early Buicks had a reversed pattern.

I gots your attention and that in fact, was the point. Thanks for the English lesson! haha

no golf door on these. again the reg coupe does have the golf door. and yes, it is a 1930. 31 had the v-8. the torque on this bad boy- oops my language- could easily pull stumps all day!

Absolutely LOVE it. Thanks for sharing. BTW, I git a chuckle out of "Will N"'s "english lesson". I find it interesting what little things get under peoples skin. For me, it's when people say "RPM's" rather that "RPM". It's a measure of revolutions not minutes.
