Where can we read the rules & regulations?
I wonder what can be done to the cars. Can I run my F1 if I put a T5 in it?
16” F1 wheels with 6 ply tires would be a good improvement for a model A since the bolt pattern is the same.
How new can the vehicle be? Can you run a 4 wheel drive Wrangler?
There are many, many videos of the P to P run on you tube.
Just google Paris to Peking rally.
.?

You have to apply and be accepted.
A few years ago they were favouring vintage vehicles over newer ones. You should have no trouble having a Model A accepted.

However, then there is just the small thing of ... the entry fee.

Well, almost a year ago I posted about Peking to Paris in a Model A, and you all were kind enough to reply with great information. Needless to say, with covid and my divorce proceedings over the past year, I am still at step 1: finding a car. As my health and most of wallet are still intact, I am ready to begin anew. Ken, aka Rally 1 offered to give advice off-site, but I seem to be unable to message or email him (not enough posts). So Ken, if you are still out there and willing to allow me to pick your brain (or assist in finding a suitable car), my email address is [email protected].

Thanks so much!

Michael

At Hershey a few years ago wasn't there a Tudor at the Snyder's booth that competed in that race. There must be some information on that car and drivers buried somewhere in the internet. Don might remember as I think he was a parts supplier for it.

With the state of the World right now I would be very careful and take very strong precautions
Even here in the fly-over Country in the middle of America I never leave home without "firepower"
Good luck and have an adventure of a lifetime

There is virtually no crime in Peking (Beijing) that a tourist will see anyway. You can walk anywhere at night ...

Came across this. He's done it three times so seems to have learnt a few things. Looks like an original wheel broke the previous time. Seems to be a fan of electric water pumps.

Do a google search for Rod Wade and his adventure from Peking to Paris a few years ago. Also see his treks across Australia. Snyder's featured his trip in their catalogue also.....
