I am hiding in my garage from my wife

I am working under the 32 so she will leave me alone. She wants to cut my hair. All the Barber Shops are close. When she cuts my hair she thinks its a sheep shearing contest. She go crazy and I end up bald. No more of that once is enough for me. I will stay in the garage maybe she will calm down and forget doing this. At least I get more work done on the 32.

I know how you feel because i'm in the same boat. A little off subject but how is the virus going in your part of the country? Here in the San Joaquin Valley of Calif. cases are very low and the deaths even lower. Don't get me wrong, even one death is one too many but to be realistic about it here the ratio of cases and deaths to population is less thatn .002%. Our county's population is 762,000 and there have been officially 266 cases which is .00034% and there have been 15 deaths which is .00001958 for the county and .0056 for the number of cases. Not near a Pandemic like the news media leads us to believe.

I quit paying a barber to cut what was left of my hair 21 years ago when I retired. I complained about the price and he, the barber, said it cost that much because he had to spend so much time looking for it. When I was young I had light red wavy hair, at some point is just waved goodbye. My wife of nearly 51 years has been cutting mine since I gave up those expensive barber cuts. Of course wives are not expensive like barbers are they.

I just read a post she made on another forum that she's in the house hiding from you, plus she has the check book, your credit cards, bank accounts, stash of cash, etc, .... all locked up where you will never find them, just in case you get any wild ideas about buying more junkers for your collection, and a bunch of expensive parts, or accessories

I was a child of the 60's and letting your hair grow was the norm, at least where I was living, I met my wife during that time and after getting drafted and scalped I vowed to never cut my hair that short again.

Fast forward after our marriage I was working on my 40 Ford sedan and laying on a creeper I tried to roll out and got that long hair caught in the wheel of the creeper!

I was flat on my back, I couldn't move forward or back without pulling my hair and scalp.

Being at home by myself I was able to reach my pocket knife and I started cutting, thank God I had a sharp knife, I resembled a survivor from a Indian scalping raid.

I continued to wear my locks long and made myself a promise to never use a creeper again.

The point of my comment is my wife likes long hair and my beard and gets mad if I talk about hair cuts, My hair is no longer in a pony tail but I thank my dad for having good genes, I ain't bald. HRP
