Default 1930 Roadster Top Irons/Bows

Ok guys, I just bought my first Model A roadster from an estate and I need your help. I believe it to be a standard that was being made into a deluxe. The stanchions have been cut and lowered and the cowl light holes appear to have been drilled not stamped out. Anyway, it came with three different sets of top irons and two sets of bows. I think two of them are the same (the black ones w/ bows (pic 1) and the ones with the top attached [pic 2]). The ones on the far right (pic 3) would have to have the wood bow inserted into the top iron which is made of sheet metal. I am a pretty big guy and would like to have a standard (with more headroom). Can any of you help me determine, by the pictures, if any of these are standard or if they are all deluxes? Anyone know the dimensions of either or both. Your help is greatly appreciated.

While on the topic, does anyone have or know of any standard stanchions or perhaps some original deluxe ones if I don't have the correct standard top irons/bows?

measure front windshield stanchions- deluxe is around 13 1/2 and standard 15 inches........ for starters. then you can see how your irons will fit.

V8fordman. I have a set of top irons you may want to look at. They are either 30 or 31 roadster. I live in Welcome, NC.

v8fordman's 1930 Ford Model A Roadster that he purchased from an Estate is coming along nicely.

Standard roadster, no longer for sale I think. The deluxe ones have that cheap strap iron look.

All the top irons you show appear to be Deluxe ones.

So does that mean that Ford had two different styles for a deluxe roadster? The ones in the last picture have the bow inserted into a pocket formed by sheet metal while the other two sets are made from bar stock (for lack of better words) and the bows attach to the outside of it.

Don't know what the last picture is. Below is a Standard Roadster.

I made an error. upon closer examination, the last set appear to be standard. I am not sure if they are 28-9 or 30-31.

I think the 3rd picture is part of a phaeton top bow.
